I. FUNDAMENTAL PROVISIONS
Article 1 (Subject matter) This Act consolidates the Republic's public identity data, language regime, administrative statistical profile and communication designations used within the Republic of North Sarajevo project.
Article 2 (Capital) Višnjik District is the capital and principal administrative centre of the Republic of North Sarajevo.
Article 3 (Official language) Bosnian is the sole official language of the Republic and is used for authentic legislative texts, official records and administrative proceedings.
Article 4 (Recognised national languages) Croatian and Serbian are recognised national languages. Their use is facilitated in cultural, educational, consultative and public-information content, subject to available capacity.
Article 5 (Auxiliary translation) English may be used as an auxiliary language for international and protocol communication. An English legislative translation is not authentic unless a separate act expressly provides otherwise.
II. STATISTICAL PROFILE
Article 6 (Population estimate) The 2026 public administrative profile records an estimate of 3,400 residents: Višnjik 1,250, Breka 1,150 and Logavina 1,000. The estimate is neither a census nor a claim about official statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Article 7 (Development indicator) The same profile publishes an internal proxy human development index of 0.806 with a steady status. It is a project estimate and does not constitute a UNDP measurement or ranking.
Article 8 (Updates) The Government may update estimates by a reasoned decision stating the date, method, sources and comparable prior value. The archived value shall remain publicly available.
III. COMMUNICATION DESIGNATIONS AND FINAL PROVISIONS
Article 9 (Internet designation) The .eu designation is used for official internet addresses and protocol communication. This provision does not represent a separate country-code top-level-domain delegation by IANA.
Article 10 (Calling code) +387 is listed as the communication calling code in the public profile. Its use relies on the existing international plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina and is not a separate ITU assignment to the Republic.
Article 11 (Alignment) Public pages, registers and information material shall be aligned with this Act within thirty days, without presenting religious-composition data as an official profile of the Republic.
Article 12 (Promulgation and entry into force) The Act was promulgated and signed by President of the Republic Din Arijan Dodik. It enters into force on publication in the Official Gazette.
